The Anglo-Irish conflict has been for the last thirty years the bloodiest in Western Europe, yet it has been paid very scant attention in Italy, at least as far as the media and general public opinion are concerned. Moreover, the few news reports on Ireland published in Italy are usually -in some of the biggest daily newspapers- grossly misinformed (relying for instance on info twenty years old), or patently inspired and managed by the not-so-hidden propaganda of one of the parties to the conflict, namely the British state and its agencies. The aim of this Homepage is to provide the Italian public with a timelier, more balanced and more informative account of the Anglo-Irish conflict.
